Digital strategist in the Jubilee government, Dennis Itumbi, has welcomed Joseph Irungu aka Jowie to the world after securing bail.
Jowie had spent about 16 months in jail with no bail as he was the main suspect in the Murder of businesswoman Monica Kimani.
The high court granted him bail after two unsuccessful attempts last year.
His girlfriend then, Jacque Marine, was granted bail on October 30, 2018 by Justice James Wakiaga.
The judge cited the possibility of Jowie absconding future appearances and lack of a known physical address.
In his rulling on Wednesday however, Justice Wakiaga said no compelling reasons had been given to deny him bail adding that all the key witnesses had testified.
Kenyans on the interwebs had complained that the judiciary is unfair for denying him bail yet other suspects including Maribe were released.
Will Jowie reunite with Maribe tomorrow being Valentine’s day or will she hang out with best friend, Itumbi, or better yet the father to her child, Eric Omondi?
