Taniua! Bahati Officially Joins Gengetone

Controversial Gospel singer Bahati Mtoto wa Mama has finally bowed down to pressure and feature in Gengetone song.

The fast rising genre of music has already taken over the music industry in Kenya and made veteran musicians to change tactics so as to fit in the picture.

Gengetone is a mixture of Genge and raggae tone but the legendary Jua Cali was carried away by the wave and he is now Singing the highly criticized ‘dirty’ lyrics.

Gospel artists were not left too, to remain relevant, they had to switch a little bit.

Bahati Kenya has dropped a Gospeltone featuring celebrated gang, Boondocks.

The song which was executed well features Bahati as a pastor and Exray, Odi wa Murang’a act as sinners who come to the pulpit and confess.

This is the first Collabo of Bahati featuring Gengetone artists and this might be one way of going Willy Paul-style.

In his defense, Bahati has in many interviews said that he only do collabos when God directs him to.
