Kenya’s leading late-night show the #10Over10 has faced the wrath of Kenyans lobbying for its removal over moral decay.
The Citizen TV’s programme that airs every Friday at 10 PM hosted by Willis Raburu over time has raised concerns and even gained the attention of moral police, Ezekiel Mutua.
Kenyans have taken to Twitter to launch their complaints over ‘raunchy’ performances by young girls who attend the show.
To some, they think that it is the role of parents to limit their children from accessing such programmes as they are not suitable for general exhibition.
Ezekiel Mutua for the longest time as being on the forefront in policing content that goes to the public and even promised to close down the show.
“The host Willis Raburu has corrupted the airwaves with the nonsense that appears to admit underage children, although he says that all those who attend have IDs.The way he conducts the show makes it look like a discotheque on air. It’s a night club brought to your tv with all immorality and obscenity live on stage,” Mutua said recently in an interview.
