The rift between president Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Samoei Ruto has continued to manifest itself through their die-hard foot soldiers.
Senate majority leader Kipchumba Murkomen now thinks people need to Accord the deputy President with respect that they give to Kenyatta.
Ruto has clearly shown his interest in going against the president in disregarding the BBI report labelling it as wastage of time and government resources.
TangaTanga leaders in a series of rants online, are saying the government is punishing them for supporting Ruto.
Murkomen through Twitter claimed that Ruto and Uhuru came together and ask for votes from Kenyans and got elected and so deputy President is not an employee of the president.
“To ODM+Sabina Kamanda:Our response is thus:The Deputy President is not an employee of the President. They willingly came together, jointly employed by the people of Kenya. The respect you are demanding for the President is the same respect the President is demanding for his Deputy,” he wrote.
The BBI report in it’s form has divided Jubilee leaders and every politician is picking a side to lean on as 2022 draws.
