Tottenham on Saturday won its first match under new head coach, Jose Mourinho after Mauricio Pochettino was sacked.
Son Heung-min, Lucas Moura and Harry Kane saved the day by scoring and winning with 3-2 at West Ham.
“I was really happy before we conceded the two goals, we were playing well, bringing to the game things we had tried in training,” Mourinho told BT Sport.
Spurs later conceded to West Ham after Michail Antonio and Angelo Ogbonna scored making Mourinho’s team lead.
‘The most important thing was to win, no matter how. The boys are happy and that’s what I really wanted,” Mourinho added.
Could this be a good sign for Mourinho in his comeback to the Premier League?
