ODM leader Raila Odinga has finally declared his net worth.
The former Prime Minister for the first time ever made his net worth public during a night interview with NTV.
This comes barely two days after deputy President William Ruto vowed never to reveal how rich he is unless his rivals do the same.
“They are saying I am so rich, which is not true,” responded ‘poor’ Odinga to a question by NTV anchor.
This, however, Odinga objectively indicated that they are in form of assets and his Karen home is Ksh 300 million.
Raila has been in active politics for a while now and when asked about if his family has benefitted from that he said, “There is nothing that the Odingas get. We don’t benefit anything. What I have told is what we own collectively.”
On the case of DP Ruto, Raila didn’t seem affected by him and only maintained that his wealth was and is questionable.
He asserted, however, that if he declares his net worth, he will work with him.
