We all have seen or heard about people conning others through the internet. From the ‘tuma ile Pesa Kwa hii number ile ingine iko na Shida to ‘you have won 50,000‘ phrases and so on. Kenyans always seek a way to survive in this broke nation.
Cyberbullying has become a rampant act that people do and go unnoticed. Women for a long time have become easy targets for cyberbullying. The legislators on the hand have addressed the displeasure of many internet users who send nude photos to them. Led by Garissa MP Aden Duale, the MP said there are certain ladies who have their phone numbers and send nudes every time. The ladies are believed to be sex workers who have now turn their job into an online venture. Perhaps it is because of the rain.
Speaking in the parliament, the legislators tabled their grievances on matters, privacy and use of technology and devices.
Kiminini MP, Chris Wamalwa added that this incidents have broken many families and need to be with the seriousness it deserves;
“THIS MATTER IS SERIOUSS AS IT HAS BROKEN MANY FAMILIES AND MUST BE BROUGHT TO AN END”

The speaker of the National Assembly, Justin Muturi concurred with the legislators on the matter and will be discussed in the parliament.
