In Kenya, January is the toughest month in our calendar. This was the case of media houses that were shut down following the broadcast of swearing in of opposition leader Raila Odinga. For a while, this was like a joke but the government applied full-force in this situation.

Larry Madowo was among the affected parties in this crackdown. But for him, he never keeps calm he speaks out what is in his mind regardless of the audience and outcome. Last week, his article was not printed on the Nation Newspaper which he had secured a space for over four years now, but Larry Madowo always has other avenues to put his articles. The agitated media personality took his article to CNN and posted on his Twitter account. What could have caused this?
